Significance
The significance of this book is that it teaches you through a mysterious way, with a great storyline about a kidnapped girl who doesn't really know what's happening but has a clue. We should care about this book because it talks a lot about family, school, and live style. It shows how a girl in her teens, 15 goes trough a life of not knowing after seeing that she was kidnapped at the age of three. It takes up to a new level each time you turn the page it has a lot to do with honesty as the main character (Janie Johnson) goes through her ages not knowing and at a point she finds out and is in search of her real mother and father. So, it is significant because it shows the twisted events that changed the lives of the girl and her two families. Which can show us what family really means and how it is important. An example shown in this book is: that Janie's real family was taken away from here because of somebody who she was kidnapped by who she loved through her life.
Perspective
My perspective of this book is that it was good and mysteriously exciting. My opinion on this book is that it is a great family novel which teaches you a lot about family and how things can go wrong or right in a family. The author wrote this book thinking of how she could show a kidnapping by a great family who the kidnappee loved very much. I think the author tried to show family in a different way by having these two families one happy and one sad of a lost of family member. She was trying to get the question out: who are these aliens who claim to be my parents? Showing that the girl didn't know any bad people which what a kidnapper is so she had no clue but then shaw a milk cartoon with her on it a had a clue. The characters in the story really bring out the book and gave me the reader a better understanding. They showed me with actions in the book and how the dialogue was given. So, I would say that this book is for everybody 3rd grade and up it shows and tells you about family which is the main topic.
Evidence
The evidence I received to support my opinion is that in the book it shows it. The argument being is that the girl doesn't know who is her real family and the family see has know she doesn't know if she was kidnapped by them. The facts in the book to support that argument is that her family she is living with admits that they kidnapped her and she was there grandchild. Also, she found out where her brothers lived and she saw resemblance in New Jersey, where she was claimed to be kidnapped. I know these are facts not opinions because it says in the book in clear letters that I received. So, that's the evidence I have received from this book.
Connections
This book connects to the world a lot. This book connects to the real world because there are many kids that are kidnapped from their parents ate a young or old age and get harmed. At, least in this book the girl is with a loving family. This book has been influenced by the past because, there has been many crimes and kids don't know what is going on and as they grow up they seem to get a clue. Most, kids in the real world are killed after a kidnapping. This book can affect the future because if people read this they might be more protective of their kids and they can see how important family is and they will think twice and not kidnap little kids.
Suppositions
As I conclude this book I want to say it was a good book. As I turned every page it unravled many new things. It was full of mystery along with telling a story. What I would change in this book is to straight in the story instead of taking baby-steps into each portion of the story. That's one of the big things I would change in this book. Other than that I enjoyed reading this book that tell's a lot about the family and school side of life.
